Talya Deluya is an Associate Attorney of JML Law’s Los Angeles office and practices in the field of employment law, where she handles cases from inception through mediation, trial, and/or arbitration. Talya began her legal career as an insurance defense attorney and subsequently transitioned into representing employees after joining JML in 2021. Since joining JML Law, Talya has resolved and obtained numerous six-figure settlements for her clients.
During law school, Talya served as a Law Clerk for the District Attorney’s Habeas Corpus Litigation Division, Victim Impact Program, and the Hard-Core Gangs Division, for which she became a Public Interest Law Committee grant recipient. Simultaneously, Talya served as a Peer Mentor, Secretary, and Alumni Chair of the Student Animal Legal Defense Fund, a certified Legal Advocate for the Children’s Rights Clinic, and received the Witkin Award for Academic Excellence in her Defenses in Criminal Law course. Talya also served as a Judicial Intern for the Honorable Judge Michael B. Harwin.
Outside work, Talya enjoys spending time with her family and friends and training her rescue dog, Luna, in the Canine Good Citizen program.
